YUI’s 16th Single, to Mother will be in stores by 2th June. In celebration of Mother’s Day, I’ll be sharing this article rather early with everyone in the same way that YUI also released this song on the radio and television earlier than usual. As the name implies, this song is written for her mother, or every mum in general.

There are some distinct visible changes you can directly on her CD covers. Firstly, YUI is featured playing the piano rather than her guitar in this song. Her hair is also plumped up, a huge difference in contrast to her previous looks from her past 2 singles. You could say she now looks more mature, or motherly depending on how you perceive it.

As of now, I’m still not too sure if there will be any special features other than the sales of a Limited CD + DVD and a CD only version of to Mother. What I can be sure of after watching the PV of to Mother is that this song should have a great reception.

With every release of a new single or album, YUI’s main website will be revamped in the look of her newest single/album.
