Team 4 Captain Announced!
Oba Mina announced as Team 4's captain

It is official! Oba Mina has indeed been named captain of AKB48′s Team 4. After much speculation, the news was officially announced at the Yossha Ikuzo! concert in Seibu Dome this evening.
Despite her diminutive size, the 19 year old Oba Mina (or Minarun as she is called) is well known for being one of the groups more outspoken and entertaining members. She often heads many of the group’s MCs and also took a lead position during the kenkyuusei B5 theater stages. As Team 4 oldest member and mood maker, it is only appropriate that she leads the group’s morale as captain.

In other news, kenkyuusei members Abe Maria and Iriyama Anna have been added to the Team 4 lineup as well. Let us share in congratulating them in their promotion.
