Rain or snow? YUI's xmas present to fans

Mainly intended as a pre-Christmas present for all YUI fans, YUI’s 17th single, Rain was already in stores since November 24th last year. Sadly, only after my CD’s shipment finally arrived did I realize that I was a little late for this post. But nevertheless I’ll still do a writeup to cover YUI’s new single.

Fans were given a treat of a rock A-side song and a slow pop B-side song for this single. It feels somewhat of a mix of melodies from her previous rock songs (in a good way), Rain will not disappoint fans that have supported YUI for her rock songs. The B-side, “a room” is a well polished tune too.

I wasn’t very confident of the single prior to its release. The new single coincided with the end of her concert tour, which was performed back to back with the release of her 4th album, Holidays in the Sun. But it seems that YUI has outdone herself again without any issues and is on the right track for her next flurry of singles this year. Kudos!

PS: Someone actually managed to upload a video of Rain in YouTube, so I’ll tag it around for everyone’s enjoyment.
