The English release of Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver, remakes of the successful 1999 Game Boy Color games will hit stores in two days time. While the craze has died down over the years, Pokemon remains the bestselling Nintendo franchise apart from Mario. Pokemon characters are still a popular cosplay choice and its star character Pikachu has seen much coverage with many cosplayers, often taking liberties with their portrayal of the adorable yellow mouse.
Japan is home to some of the best cosplay and this is no exception.
