Over 6.3 million LEDs light up the theme park this year12 November, 2011 by Chad
Every year, the Nabana no Sato theme park in Kuwana, Mie is decorated with millions of sparkling LED lights during the Winter season. This year, the park outdoes its previous record with an amazing 6.3 million lights adorning the beautiful night time landscape.
Ever part of the entire theme park has been covered by LEDs, even the fields have been made into seas of light. Some of the highlights include the returning 200 meter long corridor of lights that features over 1.2 million LEDs, as well as the new “Four Seasons of Japan”, a 6 acre stretch of the park that rotates between four illumination colors at regular intervals.
Kuwana is just 20 minutes away from Nagoya by local train. The lights will remain in operation at Nabana no Sato between 3rd November 2011 up to 11th March 2012, so those visiting will have ample opportunity to witness the wonderful sights. Nabana no Sato is no doubt extremely popular with couples. You can learn more about this year’s exhibits here.
