My Short Stories

On November 12th 2008, YUI announced the release of her first compilation album “My Short Stories”. Basically, this album contains all of YUI’s B-side songs from her previous singles and a new song, named “I’ll Be” is also included. Sadly, she also announced that she will be taking a hiatus of unknown length so she can recharge herself for a longer journey through her music career.

Like all her previous albums, My Short Stories also comes with a message from YUI directly to her fans.

“ずっと　このアルバムを　作りたくて、その物語は　YUIから　始まった”
Translated in English:
“I have always wanted to make this album. This short story is all started from YUI.”

Several fans who have received their albums early have reported that there’s a nice sticker of YUI contained within, as I have not received my own album yet, I’ll just include the picture found on various sources from the net. “I’ll Be” was chosen for the commercial song for the Sony Walkman NW-S638FK Series promotion campaign named “Play You”. YUI did a live in Omiya Koryo High School in Saitama Prefecture, Japan together with the school’s orchestra for this campaign.
