Tokyo Girls’ Style 2nd album23 April, 2012 by Gage
This is a month late, but on the 14th of last month, Tokyo Girls’ Style released an album, titled Limited addiction. This is their second album following Kodou no Himitsu (鼓動の秘密) which was released last May. Like their first, Limited addiction is a compilation of singles up to date, including new tunes. Although she have since recovered, Konishi Ayano had to give some promotions for the album a miss and wasn’t present in the above shot, due to a bone fracture in the right leg.
Limited addiction features the songs from Tokyo Girls’ Style’s past three singles including Liar, Rock You! and of course Limited addiction. It also adds six brand new ones, like Sparkle, Regret and Memai (眩暈) which features retro pop duo Vanilla Beans. The album comes in 2 CD+DVD versions. Type A includes concert footage, for 4,200 yen, Type B comes with promotional videos, for 3,800 yen and a CD only Type C version for 2,800 yen.
Since it has more previously unreleased songs than their previous album, Limited addiction is still a really good buy even if you’ve already gotten all of their singles. It’s a must get if you’ve haven’t. Packed with the same kind of R&B inspired pop tunes, Tokyo Girls’ Style listeners will be hooked to this for quite awhile.
Tokyo Girls’ Style will also be releasing their 10th Single, which will be a single arranged version of album song Tsuioku (追憶) with a new coupling song Taisetsu na Kotoba (大切な言葉), on the 23rd next month.
