AKB48 x Puccho

UHA Mikakuto is running an AKB48 x Puccho campaign for their new flavors of Puccho candy. The promo mimics the same point of view format of Kagome’s Yasai Ichi Nichi Kore Ippon adverts as the ones featured in the Drink Juice With AKB48 post.

The top 21 members from AKB48 and SKE48 (Senbatsu) have been selected for the event: Oshima Yuko, Maeda Atsuko, Shinoda Mariko, Itano Tomomi, Watanabe Mayu, Takahashi Minami, Kojima Haruna, Kashiwagi Yuki, Miyazawa Sae, Matsui Jurina, Matsui Rena, Kasai Tomomi, Takajo Aki, Minegishi Minami, Ono Erena, Kitahara Rie, Akimoto Sayaka, Sato Amina, Sashihara Rino, Nakagawa Haruka and Miyazaki Miho.

Over at the campaign’s promo website that went live yesterday, you can find video clips of the selected members being fed Puccho candy, with a twist. There are also a number of wallpapers you can download for you computer. Today, the campaign’s TV and web commercials will uploaded to the site.

Puccho candy is a type of taffy yogurt-like candy with gummy syrup inside. It is that is sold in sticks and is similar to Morinaga’s Hi-chew candies.

From now until 31st October 2010, eating Puccho candy will earn you a chance to win tickets to the AKB48 Request Hour Set List Best 100 2011. Request Hour Set List Best 100 is a 4 day concert held in January each year where the top 100 AKB48 songs as voted by fans are performed in a countdown manner. 8 hours of bliss and excitement for die-hard fans.

To take part in the contest, you will need to attached 5 barcodes from select Puccho candies to a contest form (downloadable here). 10 pairs of tickets for each of the 4 concerts days are up for grabs.
