Decade

A decade has passed since Aiko’s debut to the music scene. And now to celebrate the 10th anniversary of her music career, Pony Canyon decided to dish out a DVD named “DECADE.” So what’s in the whole Decade deal? Live footage and behind the scenes looks of Aiko during her various live performances in 2008. Definitely a must get for fans.
In the Premium Edition of DECADE, Aiko’s Love Like Pop Vol. 11.5 performance at the Budokan was captured and recorded in Disc 1. Disc 2 consists of her earlier Love Like Aloha Vol. 3 performance at Chigasaki’s Southern Beach in August 2008. Fans can also look forward to special features on Disc 1 and behind-the-scenes footage on Disc 2. What makes the Decade First Press Premium Edition special is that it comes in a deluxe box with a booklet, stickers (set of 3), and a bonus disc containing footage from Aiko’s Love Like Rock live house tour at the Akasaka Blitz in August 2008.
DECADE BOX SET:

Normal Decade box set. It has less stuff than the limited box set and uses a less impressive box packaging. 5800 Yen.
Unlike Aiko’s previous style in handling Limited and non Limited versions, there are almost no incentives in getting both boxes for collection. So if you can afford the more pricey Premium edition of DECADE, go for it. I will also take the liberty of showing you my DECADE boxed set, pictures below.

From left, DECADE Premium edition, DECADE normal edition. I know I'm a mad fan, but at least I can testify that the normal edition is not really worth the purchase.
There’s a nifty secret trick in the Decade DVD. With a little effort, you can unlock a secret video of Aiko. It is also officially written in a section of her official website. In fact, all her previously released DVDs also have a similar secret to unlock (to the delight of Aiko fans).
