New shopping mall brings the “cute” to Harajuku08 August, 2013 by Chad
Come September, a new fashion complex targeted towards teenage girls will be opening in Harajuku. Cute Cube is a collaboration project with a number of popular girls magazines including Zipper, KERA and mer that as the name suggests plans to specialize in “kawaii” styled clothing.
Cute Cube will take over the space previously occupied by the Murasaki Sports shoe store and the Nigerian “hip hop” touter shops which will likely go unmissed. The new complex houses a total of 10 shops including the UK fashion brand MONKI, sweet accessories shop OSEWAYA and a new sanrio vivitix outlet. There’s also a ASOBISTATION from ASOBI SYSTEMS.
Cute Cube opens 6th September. For more information, check out the official Cute Cube website.
