Chocolate chip chips!

We can always leave it to Japan to create wacky snacks like this. Chip! Chop (チップチョップ) is a combination of chocolate chip cookies with potato chips. The zany commercials advertise the snack’s salty taste, which goes surprisingly well with the chocolate.
At some point of time, someone must had notice the common word in both snacks’ names and decided to get witty. But there aren’t any actual potatoes used in this chips. Instead each chip is a thinly sliced chocolate cookie, which is salted and further filled with a milk chocolate center. Somehow the snack manages to combine the light and salty addictiveness of regular chips with the sinfulness of chocolate chip cookies.
