I'm not sure. It's hard to explain it. Personal preference maybe. I don't hate her or anything…she's just maybe not among my faves? I still think she's one of the groups better singers though if that makes you feel better I think she's great in Kimi wa Pegasus and Blue Rose. Sho

Yes it took ages. Personally I don't think Minegishi is any more of a airhead than most other members. But as you have mentioned she does play the role convincingly well. And in need of another Baka idol to fill up Mai's spot in leading the variety show, the producers seem to have turned to Minegishi.

Hi, nice guide, very in depth. Thank you so much it must have taken aaaages! Only small issue is the suggestion that Miichan might lack wit? She consistently receives praise from the other girls for being a quick thinker (see various blogs and Mayuyu's infamous shoujiki shogi Foot in Mouth desease outbreak). I think Miichan gets typecast because she is incredibly convincing at playing the innocent Lolli airhead (e.g. mendol)

Yeah after looking at it again, I do realize the writeup on Sayaka is kind of harsh. I must admit, I may have been biased when writing about the members (it's difficult not to ha) and also dramatized it somewhat to keep it an interesting read for non-fans.

I just have one little bone to pick, and maybe I'm just being sensitive.. but I feel your description of Sayaka is a little bit harsh. I'm not sure if it's intentional or not, but the wording seems to put her down rather than provide an unbiased introduction for new fans. Obviously she's really silly and doesn't act her age all the time, but calling her "scary looking" and saying that her antics "aren't at all endearing" while completely leaving out any mention of her notably passionate performances, her incredible vocal strength (strong enough, indeed, to land her a solo unit song), her talent for the English language and her immense sensitivity despite her outwardly intimidating and boyish appearance.

I'm not telling you how to write, or anything, but all the other girls have pretty unbiased descriptions, and I feel like it's only fair to point out her strengths along with whatever less desirable personality traits you feel she might have, you know? :/

Anyway, sorry to stir stuff up. Just consider that, even though you may not find her slapstick antics cool or cute, there are plenty of people out here who do.

Thanks for pointing out the mistake. Realized I did put that Moeno replaced Kikuchi in the Team B post but had made the mistake in this post. Please do not take offense to the comment I do not mean it in a bad way. Rather that she is still new. Some of the girls do appear in more than one stage unit at a time.

I’m confused by you saying, “Misato only appears in one song”.

She is in all the group songs, and if you’re referring to the unit songs, well, every girl is only in one of those.

Also, Moeno didn’t replace Kikuchi Ayaka, Rino did. She took her spot in B3. Moeno Replaced Inou Naru who quit.
