AKB48 Bearbricks
Limited edition figures designed personally by the girls 06 July, 2010 by Sho
This is just a quick follow up to the AKB48 7-11 Promotion post. Here are pictures of all 48 Bearbricks designed by each of the members.
The Bearbricks can be obtained randomly from this month’s 7-11 promotion. Some of the girls are clearly more artistically inclined than the rest, but that is not what the fans love them for anyways and designs from the more popular members will likely resell for many times more.
Team A Be@rbricks:
Nakaya Sayaka’s bearbrick looks rather mismatched, though the colors might be of some significance? Aachan on the other hand, provides a graphically sound technicolor star pattern.
Maeda Ami’s bear looks positively dainty but is also suspiciously pants-less, while Matsubara Natsumi seems to be apologizing for her lack of time.
Kuramochi’s design is hilarious and rather ingenious.
Kojima is back with her creepy cat while Sashihara’s bear is kind of strange.
Shinoda Mariko could have put in a little more effort.
Takajyou was feeling eco-friendly.
Takamina’s rabbit-bear-prince is definitely adorable.
Surely Nakagawa and Nakata must had conspired with Shinoda.
Iwasa Misaki loves music.
Lovetan’s bear is both jaundiced and lovesick.
Ooya gives fans another simple but sweet design.
Another heart design bear, but Katayama Haruka clearly put in more effort into her design than the others.
Team K Be@rbricks:
The trio of Matsui, Minegishi and Miyazawa seem disturbed.
Rumi’s bear is amusing, in a naked way.
Oshima Yuko spent quite a lot of time on her strange creation but Erepyon’s bear still manages to be creepier.
Kikuchi decided to play it safe this time round.
Tanabe’s bear looks edible.
Nakatsuka’s bear employs stealth technology but doesn’t forget the camo print.
Moeno loves AKB.
Nonaka demonstrates the hazards of spray tans.
Fujie was troubled about this assignment.
Bosozoku will find Akimoto Sayaka’s design the most acceptable.
Tomochin knows something you don’t.
Uchida is a rockabilly at heart.
Umeda understands branding.
Team B Be@rbricks:
Hirajima hopes to bring her fans some luck.
Masuda on the other hand, was more concerned about food.
Miyazaki Miho manages to combine two female teenage obsessions.
Watanabe shows off her manga drawing skills.
Kitahara out-lazes Shinoda.
Kobayashi’s bear is infectious.
Komori Mika gives us a whimsical creation.
Satou Amina keeps it simple.
Satou Sumire’s bear is pleasant.
As always, Satou Natsuki has a wicked sense of humor.
Mariya is creative.
Chikano isn’t.
Ishida’s bear might be diseased.
Oku Manami is able to match colors.
Please give Kasai’s bear a home.
Kashiwagi proves that you can never have too many hearts.
